FedRAMP at Cahill Swift

Cahill Swift builds cloud software for federal transportation safety compliance — and we're building it to federal security standards from the ground up.

Our Cahill Swift Compliance Management Platform is pursuing FedRAMP 20x Class C certification under the FedRAMP Consolidated Rules for 2026. Rather than retrofitting security onto an existing product, we designed our certification boundary first: a dedicated, purpose-built AWS environment with continuous monitoring, automated evidence collection, and independent third-party assessment.

Why FedRAMP 20x

FedRAMP 20x is the federal government's modernized approach to cloud security certification. Where the legacy process relied on lengthy narrative documentation, 20x is built on Key Security Indicators — measurable security outcomes validated continuously by automation. For our agency customers, that means security posture that's verified in near-real time, not described in a document that ages.

Where we are
  • Initial Implementation Phase Marketplace Listing — requested with FedRAMP (August 2026)

  • Class C certification application — planned for August 31, 2026, when the application pipeline opens

  • Independent assessment — engaged with Prescient Security, LLC for September/October 2026

The first service in our certification boundary is Rallidocs, supporting Federal Railroad Administration review and approval of railroad industry drug and alcohol testing policies under 49 CFR Part 219. Additional compliance services will join the same certified boundary through FedRAMP's change management process — meaning agencies benefit from one certification, one continuous-monitoring program, and a growing platform.

One boundary, built for reuse

FedRAMP certification is designed for reuse: once certified, our security package is available for any federal agency to leverage in its own authorization decisions — no duplicate assessment required. If your agency is interested in the platform or wants access to our certification data, we'd like to hear from you.
